New York Display For NTP's Digital Routers

NTP Technology, a leading manufacturer of audio routing and signal conversion equipment, is heading for the 127th AES Convention in New York this week to exhibit the latest additions to its expanding product range.
The exhibition and conference will be held at the Javits Convention Centre, between October 9 - 12.
Making its first AES appearance, NTP's Penta 725 series is a new-generation compact modular audio router designed for sound recording studios, post-prodction facilities and mobile production vehicles as well as television and radio broadcasting.
The Penta 725 packs up to 384 x 384 crosspoints into a compact 1 U 19-inch chassis. Sixty-four AES3 stereo and four MADI inputs/outputs can be accessed for interfacing digital audio sources. Controllable via TCP/IP or front-panel navigation keys, the Penta 725 accommodates a variety of software modules. Two high-speed bi-directional links are included for connection to NTP 625 or additional Penta 725 systems.
An AES3 monitor output is provided for input and output monitoring.
Also making its AES US debut, NTP Technology's RCCore is a software application which handles configuration, control and supervision of all router modules in an NTP audio signal distribution system. RCCoreV3 can be used as a stand-alone controller within the NTP 635-300 router or run from standard PC hardware.
It allows highly efficient control of the router's dual-backbone interface and supports the double LAN interface on 625-800 frames. It also forms a communication interface to NTP's VMC and BLISS control options and to third-party communication protocols. Features include remote access and log-in at expert-user level for system set-up, maintenance and database management. Secure access is possible via Virtual Private Network. A plug-and-play retro-compatible database can be held on the active controller and on standby controllers.
Alongside its range of routing systems, NTP will demonstrate the DAD AX24 eight-channel audio converter. The AX24 converter is intended for use with high-end digital audio workstations where the highest possible recording quality is required. It supports 44.1 up to 192 kHz sampling rates as well as major production centres, post-production facilities and outside broadcast vehicles.
