Feb, 27: Berlin and Brandenburg panel session: "Broadcast and Production in the post Brexit era"
At the show the German states Berlin and Brandenburg will present a panel of experts who will discuss the opportunities available in the German capital region to UK production companies and broadcasters in a post-Brexit era.

The panel is part of the BVE conference programme and will look to tackle and highlight the potential issues that British companies could face, particularly with broadcast licensing, content distribution, production services and even GDPR after the UK leaves the European Union. It will feature a moderator and three or four guests talking about post-Brexit options for content producers and distributors.

This initiative is a collaboration of government entities whose aim is to engage with UK production and broadcast companies preparing for Brexit. The panel will address the major concerns around how British-backed programming will be produced and distributed throughout the EU, as well as the potential issues that British companies could face with regards to broadcast licensing, production services and even GDPR.
