BenQ’s dynamic new 27” video post-production monitor offers professionals consistently accurate colour

BenQ has launched an exciting new 27” monitor that meets the demanding needs of video post-production professionals that also need to edit still images. Uncompromising colour performance and powerful calibration tools make the PV270 the ideal monitor for professionals that require reliable colour throughout their workflow.

The BenQ PV270 is the epitome of ‘Still meeting motion’, giving film-makers the best of both worlds. The 100% coverage of the Rec. 709 and 96% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, ensure the output for high definition television and digital cinema matches the required colours. The 99% Adobe RGB coverage encompasses most of the colours producible for photography professionals.

The PV270's comprehensive and rigorous approach to colour management helps ensure colour is reproduced consistently throughout the video post-production workflow. From the rough-cut phase, through to effects, colour correction, and compositing, to the output stage, colour is rendered with pinpoint accuracy so that the intended results match perfectly.

The PV270 is Technicolor Color certified and meets the strict colour standards for Hollywood, the broader media and entertainment industries. The 2560 x 1440 (QHD) resolution delivers the crisp picture quality expected for close reviews and detailed editing, and the spacious 27" wide-screen view provides greater comfort and productivity.

With a 14-bit 3D Look Up Table, professionals are able to display the most accurate colour mixture. It also improves the RGB colour blending accuracy, resulting in impeccable colour and grey tone reproduction. GamutDuo enables you to view video simultaneously in different colour spaces side-by-side for added comparison convenience and reliability.
