Rapist Jailed For Ten Years

An east London Muslim has been jailed for 10 years for rape.



26-year-old Abdul Makim Khalisadar, well known for his religious speeches, pleaded guilty to raping a woman after forcing his way into her home in Whitechapel, east London in 2005.
DNA taken from Khalisadar when he was arrested for downloading child abuse images linked him to the rape.
Khalisadar who is currently unemployed, used to work as an assistant in a primary school teaching English and Maths. He also worked with an anti-drug-and-violence project in Brick Lane.
Several of Khalisadar’s friends were each jailed for 12 months for admitting to conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Khalisadar attacked the victim as she made her way home around 3.30am. He forced her to peform a sex act and threatened to kill her when she tried to escape.
Khalisadar has been also under investigation by detectives in connection with his links to buying arms for terrorism in 2006.
