Anton/Bauer's EledZ And ULHM-Modules 'Light Up' IBC

A premier provider of batteries, chargers, lighting and other mobile power systems for the professional broadcast, video and film industries, Anton/Bauer - a brand of the Vitec Group - is introducing its new LED EledZ and ULHM-LED light modules at IBC 2009 at Stand 9.D28b.
Together with Litepanels, a sister Vitec Group brand, Anton/Bauer has developed the signature EledZ and ULHM-LED lights to complement the UltraLight Series and ElipZ battery system.
Martyn Sly-Jex, Regional Sales Manager for EMEA, said: "We are happy to finally provide an LED lighting solution for our customers. With the additional power draw from today's cameras, customers need a way to maximise their battery run-time. The EledZ and ULHM-LED lights successfully cut down on the total power consumption of a user's lights, giving them an easy way to extend the run-time and battery power."
Designed for use with the popular Anton/Bauer ElipZ 10k battery, the EledZ is an integral LED light, perfect for today's smaller handheld cameras. When used with the ElipZ battery system, the EledZ produces heat-free and flicker-free soft bright light of 5600K and weighs a more 110g.
Consuming only 4.5 watts, the EledZ includes a dimmer which allows for light output adjustments from 0-100%, with very minimal colour change. With the ElipZ 10K battery, the typical run-time for powering the EledZ and a camera is five hours. The light output is 52fc at two feet. A filter is included with the kit which allows a user to change colour temperature down to 3200K as necessary.
The ULHM-LED is an LED head module designed for use with the world's most popular on-camera light, the Anton/Bauer UltraLight. The versatility of the UltraLight Head Module has been its most beneficial feature over the past 20 years, allowing a videographer to quickly change to an HMI (UltraDAYlight) or carry a spare head module. Now, with the development of theULHM-LED, a videographer can maximise their investment with the choice of using tungsten, HMI or LED lighting with the same light base.
The ULHM-LED head module weighs only 300g and provides heat-free and flicker-free soft bright light of 5600K. With a very low power consumption of 9 watts, the added ability to dim the light from 0-100% with minimal colour temperature change makes this the most efficient LED light available. The ULHM-LED head module puts out 100fc at two feet, while consuming a third of the power of a tungsten light. A filter is included with the package, which allows user to change the colour temperature down to 3200K as required.
