Russia To Broadcast In Higher Quality With Ross Technology

West District TV in Russia has invested in Ross technology with the purchase of Synergy 1 and Synergy 3 Digital Production Switchers and a SoftMetal Video Server.
West District TV made the decision to replace their existing analogue equipment with digital to offer viewers a higher quality of live broadcasts, studio programming, and sporting events.
The equipment, on air since June, is being used to broadcast two TV channels - West District TV and Zelenograd TV.
Alexey Shutov, General Director of West District TV, said: "Ross' technology was chosen for our channels because of the level of product quality at an affordable price point.
"The combination of switchers and server has met all of our needs and resolved any issues thrown in its direction. Our studios now have the ability to provide viewers with a more stable broadcast at a higher technical level."
