Rainbow Post Appoint Bookings Manager

Gemma Batters has been promoted to the role of Bookings Manager.
Originally employed as Facilities Assistant, Gemma, who was previously a Runner and then a Junior Producer at Evolutions, soon showed she was capable of greater things.
"I knew Gemma was very good, as I'd worked with her previously," commented Andy Snowley, Facilities Manager. "I soon realised that she deserved a better fate and could contribute so much more to Rainbow than by slaving away as my assistant! Gemma has taken on the day-to-day aspects of running the post facilities here, which allows me to concentrate on the broader picture and makes us, I believe, a very effective and productive team."
As Bookings Manager, Gemma is the first point of contact for all clients who wish to book a project with Rainbow Post, and is responsible for managing all the on-going work in all of the facilities at Rainbow Post (ten SD offline editing suites, two HD/SD online suites, two surround-sound dubbing theatres, a Graphics/compositing suite and a duplication facility), and ensuring that all the staff know which projects they're assigned to on any given day. Using Scheduall's Edge bookings software, Gemma has it all under control.
"There's a lot to think about," said Gemma, "but I've always liked the people side of this business, and that's what this job is all about — keeping tabs on all the projects here, and making sure all of our clients get exactly what they need, when they need it. Everyone's been really welcoming to me here since I started, and it's great to be handed this responsibility so quickly."
