EVS Show Multicam At Broadcast Live & Video Forum
Belgian-technology company EVS (Stand C30) has revealed the latest software release for its XT[2] server platform, Multicam 9.00, which offers significant improvements in media file transfer due to a new file architecture and gigabit-Ethernet connection.
Alongside the new software release, the company offered demos of the very latest IPDirector production software for optimised control of media in any production environment at Broadcast Live and Video Forum.
The newest version offers a comprehensive suite of software applications to control production workflows from ingest to playout, including a brand-new production playlist and a new series of tools offering intuitive control of media between XT[2] servers, or between the XT[2] and third-party craft editors. Also highlighted was the new Avid & EVS combined workflow for full integrated tapeless production in HD.
