Young Filmmakers Asked To Submit Short Films To Second Digital Debut Showcase

An exciting new project in its second year is calling all young talented film-makers to submit their short films to the Digital Debut showcase at the Phoenix Cinema in London on the 21 September 2007.
Catch the Moon Productions which organises Digital Debut is keen to give film makers an opportunity to show films, up to 15 minutes long, on the wide screen at one of the leading independent cinemas in the UK.
It is also an opportunity for other creative artists such as photographers and musicians using digital format to showcase their work. Digital Debut attracts interest from the film industry and is the ideal event for actors, productions, broadcasters, promoters and distributors to network.
Reena Dookhee, creator of Digital Debut and Director of Catch the Moon Productions commented: “This is the 2nd year that Digital Debut has given young talent a chance to show their work. The whole purpose of this event is to give people a chance that they otherwise may not get in a very challenging (competitive) industry. Last year was a success with some film makers attracting new commissions.”
