ATG Broadcast Complete Contract For Financial Institution

ATG Broadcast has recently completed a prestigious new media control facility and video conferencing reference room for one of the world's largest financial institutions.
Located in London, the new installation forms the heart of a broadcast-quality production and conferencing resource supporting the company's training programmes and international communication. Work on the project commenced in November and was completed in March.
Totalling nearly £1 million, the contract centred on a nine-seat control room. It accommodates up to seven production staff at two custom-built curved desks, each equipped with multiple 19 inch LCD screens on Ergotron adjustable mounts. The main technical resources are incorporated into the forward desk, including a GVG/Thomson Kayak vision switcher, Pro-Bel Sirius 256 x 256 HD/SD-SDI multiformat router, an Extron 48 x 48 RGBHV router, an Omneon server controller and a Tandberg video conference system. Two additional desks were provided at the rear of the media control room for engineering supervisors.
A six-panel MCR display at the front of the suite incorporates Mitsubishi cubes. These are driven by an Evertz MVP multi-image display processor. Two 50 inch plasma panel displays to the left of the main screen are available for content such as live financial-news feeds. The monitor stack, desking and monitor arms were all supplied by studio furniture specialist Custom Consoles.
"We were very pleased to be awarded this major contract," comments ATG Broadcast Sales Director Alan Pimm. "The control room itself is one of the largest of its kind in Europe and makes full use of the latest computer-based technology. It is designed and constructed to full broadcast quality throughout. The client has kindly permitted us to publish images and a description of the installation but does not wish to be named for security reasons."
ATG Broadcast is an industry-leading international systems integrator with an unsurpassed reputation for the technical stability, operational efficiency and affordability of its installations.
A member of the Dan Technologies Group based near London, ATG Broadcast combines long experience of traditional broadcast equipment and computer-based media management systems.
ATG Broadcast's purchasing power and impartial choice of equipment enable the optimal combination of available products and technologies to be provided for each project.
