Leitch appoint root6 UK & Ireland distributor
Leitch Technology Corporation have announced that root6 have appointed the master UK and the Republic of Ireland distributor for Leitch's new Quattrus non-linear editing system.
John Harris of root6 said: "Quattrus leapfrogs all currently available non-linear technology, so naturally we are extremely excited about introducing this exceptional solution to the UK postproduction community."
Kelvin Bolah, postproduction channel manager for Leitch, added: "Leitch are very happy to be working with root6.
"Quattrus presents us with the opportunity to penetrate the postproduction market at a higher level, and root6 are perfectly positioned to help achieve this."
A series of open days to demonstrate Quattrus is to be held at root6's Wardour Mews offices on November 25-29.
