Bectu Members Accept Technicolor Back-dated Pay Offer

Bectu members at Technicolor Film Laboratory have voted to accept the company's back-dated pay offer of 3.5%.
Members voted for a 3.5% pay offer, back-dated to April 2006, on basic pay plus all shift and overtime payments.
The pay offer was agreed unanimously at a general meeting of the Branch on 4 February 2007.
The long delay in settling the 2006 pay claim was caused by the redundancy round in the summer and autumn - members agreed to focus on negotiating a satisfactory package for those losing their jobs.
Negotiations for the 2007 payround will commence shortly.
