London Children's Film Festival Promises To Please A Younger Audience in November

This year the London Children’s Film Festival (LCFF) runs from November 18-26, with 16 venues across the capital involved in screenings and events.
The LCFF was launched in November 2005. Over ten exciting days, thousands of children, young people and their families enjoyed a world-class film programme of more than 70 titles from 25 countries.
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural festival the 2006 programme combines exciting and educational cinema events. Experience new cinema from India to Iran, France to Finland, Canada to Korea – a showcase of the best films from across the globe.
The line up includes previews and premieres, documentaries, archive titles, shorts, workshops and films made by young people for young people.
Film London is also participating in two special schools’ events which will provide insight into the film-making process. Based around London-shot film Stormbreaker, the events will look at how the film was brought from page to screen and examine the different roles within the production team.
The London Children’s Film Festival is based at the Barbican Centre – the largest arts centre in Europe.
Find out more about the festival, including the latest news on guests, plus recommendations and reviews from First Light Young Juries and Consultants, on the Barbican website:
