PEPPER PLAN HD TRANSITION VIA AVID|DS HD
UK BROADCAST facility Pepper have announced they plan to move into high definition (HD) post-production by becoming the world’s first beta-site for Avid|DS HD.
A deal signed with UK reseller root6 at IBC, will see Pepper take delivery of Avid|DS HD in November.
Shane Warden, Pepper Director and Senior Editor said: “A number of our clients are already expressing considerable interest in High Definition. The new Avid|DS HD will enable us to make a seamless transition from standard definition editing to the world of 24P. The experience at roo6 and the quality of DS is a perfect match in our long term development at Pepper.”
The installation of the HD system is part of a wider plan to expand Pepper into a full service broadcast facility.
