AVID TECHNOLOGY RECEIVE EMMY AWARD
AVID Technology, providers of digital media creation and distribution solutions, have announced that The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded the company an Emmy award for outstanding achievement in technological advancement on October 3.
President and CEO of Avid David Krall said: “We’re very proud of this latest honour as we continue our rich tradition of developing the most advanced digital media creation, editing, storage and distributions available.”
Avid accepted the award for pioneering development of full motion broadcast-quality PC video and compression plug-in cards used in the manufacture of non-linear editing systems or video servers.
Avid have received several Emmy awards for innovation in the engineering and development of tools for the television production community.
