Eyeheight adds composite facilities to legalEyesSDi

Eyeheight has expanded the capabilities of its legalEyesSDi legaliser with the addition of composite signal handling.
The enhanced version features separate settings for NTSC and PAL limits in SDI, including vector and total video level. Tailored for independent programme-makers and editors working for the broadcast market, legalEyesSDi enables signal levels to be kept within legal limits to prevent over-saturation which in turn could cause colour errors or transmitter overload. Levels can be evaluated on a continuous basis and instantaneously corrected. All controls are easily accessible from the front panel. A compact 1 U high by half rack width, legalEyesSDi incorporates adjustable hard and soft clipping levels, independently controllable luma gain, chroma gain and black level, plus eight power-protected user memories. Remote interrogation and update can be performed quickly and easily via an integral IP interface.
The legaliser can be interfaced easily into third-party control systems under high-speed Ethernet control.
