Off the Fence sells raft of titles into France and Spain

Leading independent production and distribution companies, Off the Fence, has announced it has sold a raft of titles into France and Spain.
Major French broadcaster, France 5 has just confirmed a renewal deal for a number of Off the Fence’s top wildlife titles, including the multi award-winning “Devil’s Playground”, as well as “Awesome Pawsome” and “The Octopus’s Garden” all NHNZ productions. Meanwhile, network of local terrestrial broadcasters Localia Television in Spain has picked up series one and two of NHNZ award winner “The Most Extreme”.
Rafael Molina, Sales Executive at Off the Fence, commented: “It is great to announce yet more sales for these fantastic NHNZ titles. France 5 and Localia TV were both extremely impressed by the production values and subject matter of the shows, which suit the type of slot they were looking to fill perfectly.”
“The Most Extreme” series is a fun look at how the best (and worst) of Off the Fence’s world stack up against the animal kingdom. Each storyline is simple: countdown the ten most extreme animals for any given behaviour. The journey to find the answer, however, is far from straightforward. The path twists between natural history, science, history and trivia.
It’s much more than just a list of the top ten fastest animals, or the strongest, or the weirdest. 'The Most Extreme' goes further, comparing all kinds of human achievements with those of nature in the most graphic way possible.
'The Devil’s Playground' travels deep inside a mountain lair, where hidden cameras reveal the shocking private life of a female Tasmanian devil.
'Awesome Pawsome' follows the first year in the life of four precocious tiger cubs in an Australian animal park, as they learn to be tigers in a human world.
'The Octopus’s Garden' reveals how these misunderstood magicians of the sea, who begin life as a mote floating on the ocean currents, become voracious predators.
