Dubai TV selects Pro-Bel for master control backbone

Pro-Bel, manufacturer and supplier of routing, signal processing, master control and automation, has announced that Dubai TV has installed a Pro-Bel Freeway 32x32 router and expansion to an existing Pro-Bel Eclipse router.
The installation was carried out by Pro-Bel partner Pro Media International Ltd, UK.
Government-owned Dubai TV, based in the Dubai Media City, chose the Freeway 32x32 router to form the backbone of its Master Control Room (MCR) providing an interface between the MCR, Dubai TV and associated uplink connected via a microwave network. Dubai TV broadcasts multiple channels to homes throughout the Middle East region including news, sports, business and entertainment.
