EMOTION TO LAUNCH NEW SOFTWARE FEATURES AT IBC

eMOTION, have announced a new feature within MediaPartner 4.0 that allows the delivery and viewing of media files on a handheld, wireless device.
Demonstrations of this capability can be seen at the company's stand (#12.310) at this year's IBC.
eMotion's proprietary software is the first of its kind to support the full life cycle of media; allowing companies to facilitate the process of searching, collaborating and distributing of digital assets, such as video files, pictures and text documents. Users will now have the freedom to collaborate anywhere at anytime using the patented eMotion annotation viewer on a personal digital assistant (PDA). Users will be able to annotate video and still images with a virtual pen, sticky note, text and even voice using a wireless modem.
Bob Griffin, president and CEO of emotion, said: "eMotion are proud to be the innovator of this cutting edge technology and is pleased to offer this level of flexibility to digital media management. Now creative professionals and managers have instant access to projects using a Pocket PC with the eMotion annotation viewer".
eMotion MediaPartner4.0 powers the full life cycle of digital media from content collaboration, deep storage, search and retrieval using eMotion's patented natural language search and the ability to effectively move bandwidth intensive media over the web. The software is 100% web-based and is "out-of-the-box", which means customers are up and running in less than a day. The solution can be implemented via a license or through eMotion's ASP services.
