G&D North America To Present KVM Solutions At NAB 2023

News Image
G&D North America is to present its diverse portfolio of KVM solutions for the Broadcast Industry at NAB 2023 show at booth N1967 and will be offering their KVM expertise to consult customer and partner on individual projects.

KVM systems are deeply rooted in the broadcast and media industry and offer numerous benefits including optimized workflows, latency-free access to remote systems and the ability to integrate virtual sources and enable remote access.

Thanks to the performance, the wide, compatible portfolio and their innovative approach, numerous broadcast professionals around the world already trust in G&D’s solutions. Users in broadcasting studios, in post-production, remote production, or in an OB Van or ESports benefit from the solutions of the German manufacturer and can fully concentrate on what really counts: carry out their complex tasks – with full computer access but without any latency.

NAB show will be celebrating '100 Years of Innovation', and offers a large area for the newest trends and innovations for broadcast enthusiasts.
For over 35 years, Guntermann & Drunck GmbH represents the highest quality and usability, made in Germany. At NAB 2023, the American subsidiary G&D North America Inc. will not only be presenting innovative KVM solutions for broadcast, but revolutionary concepts for the entire media and entertainment industry, providing answers to current challenges in the market. Visitors can get excited about the latest trends on the large exhibition floor and get inspired by the KVM experts with its groundbreaking solutions.

The new multiviewing tool combines flexibility and usability. It enables broadcast professionals to display multiple video signals on just one large monitor or multiple displays and therefore individually designing their workplaces. Where previously a separate monitor was required for each process, the PersonalWorkplace-Controller now allows multiple video signals to be displayed on just one larger monitor or multiple displays. In addition to getting a clearly arranged overview of all processes on just one monitor, users can simultaneously and flexibly access all the data they need. Providing latency-free operation of multiple computers from a single console facilitates everyday work whereas high image quality as well as unlimited flexibility in arranging the sources provides added value.

G&D's product series VisionXS offers large range of functions and comes in a small and space-saving design. The high-end product line of matrix compatible extenders is expanded by new variants, so that for each application the suitable product can be used and every need can be covered. In addition to the already available DP-UHR variants for resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz, the product range is now complemented by the new DP-HR variants for resolutions up to 2560 × 1600 at 60 Hz. For this series, the manufacturer also relies on its proven, lossless bluedec™ compression, which enables authentic, pixel-perfect video experiences.

A new addition to the portfolio is the VisionXS extender with two display port connectors for dual-head applications. This makes it possible to operate two monitors at the same time while saving cabling effort and additional hardware by using only one transmission port. On the user side, the new option ensures better ergonomics and greater flexibility at workstations.

The VisionXS-IP portfolio continues to grow, with new variants supporting Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). The new feature makes it possible to supply power to the device using the transmission port. In this way, the extender can be secured twice against failures: The device is connected via both the main power supply and the network cable, providing redundancy in case one power supply fails. This guarantees maximum operational safety and reliability during continuous operation.

Like all other G&D products, the new devices are fully compatible with existing models. The extensive combinability of the KVM systems ensures solutions that are suitable for all applications. This makes it even easier to plan and expand installations, even at a later date.

The German based KVM pioneer has placed a strategic focus on its worldwide growth by making a significant investment into its US subsidiary, G&D North America Inc. Under the vision and leadership of President & Managing Director Jon Litt, the company is completely reorganizing itself with the goal of revolutionizing the KVM market in the Americas, and becoming the preferred partner of KVM solutions to the market.

G&D North America has a full schedule of trade shows and events to demonstrate high-performance KVM equipment engineered and made in Germany. Interested parties can meet the experts team at NAB show at booth N1967 from April 16 to 19, 2023. They will be showcasing the latest KVM solutions and their seamless integration with broadcast control systems, providing the best possible system homogeneity and interoperability.
