SSL ANNOUNCE MAJOR SALES AT SATIS

STUDIO Mega of Suresnes have continued their planned programme of expansion with the news that the popular facility have recently extended their capabilities considerably.
In October, Studio Mega installed a second 80-channel SL 9000 J Series Super Analogue console, upgraded their original 96-channel MT digital multitrack console to the new 'Plus' configuration and ordered a further MT Plus for a new room scheduled to open at the end of November.
The second SL 9000 J Series console, now up and running in Studio C, complements an equivalent console in Studio A that, over the years, has regularly hosted the music recording and mixing 'A' list, with artists of the calibre of Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, Celine Dion and Sting.
Studio B, home to the 48-fader, 96-channel digital MT console, is now upgraded to the 'Plus' configuration introduced by SSL earlier this year. Essentially, the Plus versions of A Series digital consoles utilise new and powerful HS processing which increases control surface responsiveness and enables the implementation of important new features. A second MT Plus has also been ordered for installation during November, where the 64-channel digital console will be the focus of a new room.
