Video Design Selects Marshall Cameras

Video Design has selected the latest Marshall CV 343 CS HD mini cameras to a number of high-profile concerts by rock bands including Lower Than Atlantis, Biffy Clyro, Bring Me The Horizon, and Kasabian, among others.

Available in the UK through Marshall's UK distributor, Newbury-based Cache Media, Marshall's third-generation CV 343 CS Full-HD (3G-SDI) Compact Broadcast POV Camera improves on all aspects of video performance. Utilising a new 1/3-inch high speed sensor packing 2,476,296 pixels (2.5 megapixels) of clear video capture through full sized 3G/HD-SDI (BNC) outputs at resolutions of 1920x1080i, 1920x1080p, 1280x720p, and frame-rates of 60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25 fps.

New proprietary pixel technology offers low noise ratio, capturing sharp, vivid colour images in very low light conditions, as low as 0.05 lux. Low power consumption draws low power in full 1920x1080p60/59.94/50fps modes.

In addition, the new CV343-CSB/CS Pro-Series POV Cameras continue to offer Field-of-View flexibility with interchangeable CS/C mount Varifocal lenses and convenience of HD-SDI outputs maintaining a broadcast standard for POV camera applications. New RS485 connectability offers remote camera control communication via SONY VISCA or PELCO protocols.
