The Windsors Returns For Christmas Specials

Comedy series The Windsors is to return to Channel 4 for two special festive-themed episodes, it has been announced. Filming is due to commence next month, with the episodes airing in December.

Written by Bert Tyler-Moore and George Jeffrie, the comedy will once again satirise the Royals and the seasonal celebrations that might take place at Sandringham.

Will Pippa's relationship with Harry be jeopardised by the arrival of a certain billionaire hedge funder with amnesia? Who will win the 'battle for Christmas' between Kate and Camilla? Will Beatrice and Eugenie's single, 'Daddy Come Home for Christmas' land the Christmas number one spot? Why is William being visited by the ghost of Christmas past? And will Prince Charles hold it together for his first ever Christmas speech to the nation?

The Windsors stars Harry Enfield as Prince Charles, Haydn Gwynne as Camilla, Morgana Robinson as Pippa, Louise Ford as Kate, Hugh Skinner as Wills, Richard Goulding as Prince Harry, Katy Wix, as Fergie, Ellie White as Beatrice, Celeste Dring as Eugenie, Tim Wallers as Prince Andrew and Matthew Cottle as Prince Edward.

Commissioned by Head of Comedy Phil Clarke and Deputy Head of Comedy Nerys Evans, the 2x30' episodes will be made by Noho Film and TV, directed by Adam Miller, executive produced by Camilla Campbell and Robert Wulff-Cochrane and produced by Izzy Mant.
