McMillan appoint new Sales and Marketing Director

McMillan, the leading solutions provider to the broadcast, post-production and presentation markets, have announced the recent appointment of Gary Langlands to a newly created Sales and Marketing Director position.
Within his new role, Langlands will be responsible for devising a marketing strategy, brand development, communications, promotions and telemarketing, with initial focus on the broadcast and post-production markets. Langlands will also be in charge of the building of the company's Soho Square operation, which was opened in 2002.
Prior to moving to McMillan, Langlands was responsible for marketing professional services and software with NCR, the world leading banking self-service manufacturer. Langlands spearheaded the company's double figure growth against a flat global market, alongside which he developed a new positioning strategy, which put NCR at the forefront of its field.
McMillan has recently repositioned themselves as a driving force within the broadcast and presentations markets and is looking to capture the lucrative London market.
This is to be achieved with the recruitment of additional solutions specialists and significant partnerships formed. The most recent is with BBC Vecta, who has chosen McMillan as its UK partner for BBC WiScape, the wireless development company spun out of the BBC.
