Portable Panasonic Projector A 'World's First'

Panasonic has announced it is due to launch the world’s first portable, high-brightness WUXGA LCD projector (WUXGA resolution projectors in the sub-5kg category, as of June 2014).

The PT-VZ570 series comprises six models, which offer a maintenance-free operational life of 7,000 hours when set to eco mode, reducing Total Cost of Ownership for businesses and educational institutions.
All six models allow both portable and ceiling-mounting and feature Vertical Lens Shift and Screen Adjustment functionalities.
Hartmut Kulessa, Marketing Manager for Panasonic, said: "Equipped with a high 5,000:1 contrast ratio and Panasonic’s Daylight View Basic technology, the projectors delivers bright, richly detailed images. They are ideal for any classroom or meeting setting.
"The Series also meets the growing trend for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) by providing wireless projection from both PC and mobile devices."
The wireless network enabled 'N-version' projectors include next-generation Miracast™ technology, while Panasonic apps for iOS/Android and Wireless Manager ME 6.2 software for Windows®/Mac PC helps to ensure multi-user wireless projection in three steps.
Wireless models also feature DIGITAL LINK, which allows users to send uncompressed Full-HD videos, audio and control commands through a single LAN cable (up to 100m).
