Rohde & Schwarz Offer Free Seminar

Rohde & Schwarz are offering a free one-day seminar titled 'Ingest to iPad: The New IT Broadcast Paradigm'.

The seminar will be held in 2 locations:
• Tuesday 3rd June at Twickenham Stadium
• Thursday 5th June at Manchester United Football Club.
Professionals working in the broadcast industry continually face new challenges in keeping up to date with the latest developments in broadcast technology. 4K and higher video resolutions, HEVC compression and MPEG-DASH delivery systems are just some of the innovations expected to be rapidly introduced over the next few years.
'From Ingest to iPad: the New IT-Broadcast Paradigm' will look at the complete IT-Broadcast chain and the technologies required by the successful broadcaster of the future.
The seminar will look at the impact of the latest compression formats such as JPEG2000, VP9 and HEVC/H.265 on Media Asset Management, editing, playout and compression systems.
It will also look at how the wide variety of RF transmission and IP delivery systems such as DVB-T2, LTE Broadcast and MPEG-DASH will enable consumers to view content on a UHDTV screen as easily as on a mobile phone or tablet PC.
