Film London Appoints Inward Investment Manager

News Image
Film London has appointed David Shepheard as its new Inward Investment Manager.
Shepheard joins the Inward Investment and Business Development team, headed up Helena Mackenzie. He is responsible for attracting inward investment by promoting London as a film production destination.
Adrian Wootton, Chief Executive of Film London and the British Film Commission said: "I am delighted David will be driving this work forward. His experience in this area will ensure we capitalise on London's assets and deliver more investment into the capital, creating jobs and new opportunities for the benefit of the city."
Shepheard has over 10 years of experience managing productions. In 2009 he was recruited to set up the Abu Dhabi Film Commission.
Before that, Shepheard was Head of Inward Investment and Locations at South West Screen. He also launched Screen East when it merged with Eastern Screen, where he was interim Chief Executive.
Shepheard was the first Director of Bristol Film Office. Before entering into investment, Shepheard was an assistant director across features, commercials and television for over four years.
