2002 a year of 'outstanding growth' for OmniBus
2002 was yet another impressive year of growth according to leading provider of broadcast technology automation solutions, OmniBus Systems (OmniBus).
Highlights for the company included record sales figures, global expansion, ground breaking new technology and new partnerships.
Commenting on the outstanding year for the company, CEO Sanjaya Addanki said: “Despite widespread industry gloom, sales were ahead year on year, fuelled by a series of major sales, including Time Warner Cable, the Starz Encore Group and Sahara TV; and our heavy investment in strengthening the executive team.”
OmniBus’ news automation and asset and media management solutions were at the heart of a major technological collaboration that took the pioneering NY1 News to air with ‘the newsroom of the future’ for Time Warner Cable in January.
Further to this US$6 million deal, OmniBus’ largest order to date, OmniBus received an advance order for £500,000 in November for an eighth Time Warner Cable 24-hour news channel.
