Encore upgrade with UTAH-400 router
Encore Video, a leading digital production facility, have recently completed a major upgrade of their signal distribution system built around the new UTAH-400 high density digital routing switcher.
Don Buehler, Encore’s Director of Engineering, said: “The UTAH-400 was an easy choice. We have a lot of experience with Utah’s products and we’ve always been impressed with their reliability and with the excellent service we get from the company. The UTAH-400’s small size, low price, and upgrade provisions made it a natural for us.”
Encore’s expansion is built around a 288x288 UTAH-400 Matrix which is replacing a 128x128 UTAH-300 that has been in service since 1996.
The project also involved expansions to the facility’s other routers for analogue video, audio, timecode, and machine control.
