Hamlet prepares for IBC 2002

Hamlet, well known as the inventor of the concept of on-screen test and measurement devices, are preparing for IBC2002 with a number of new products – all designed to provide precision signal measurement and generation with operational convenience.
Hamlet's contribution to the transition to HD includes new products like the multi-format DigiGen, a HD and standard definition, digital and analogue compact 1U high SPG. By meeting the highest requirements of HD while providing vital functionality today, the DigiGen is designed to reduce the cost of future-proofing for HD SDI.
Hamlet will be displaying their latest range of rack, stand alone and portable, on-screen display and discrete LCD, CRT replacement technology, demonstrating that whatever the application there is a test and measurement device which fits the bill.

Hamlet manufactures a complete range of waveform/vectorscopes, including rack mount, stand alone, PCB and portable units for studio, EFP/ENG, editing, telecine, duplication, desktop video applications and more.
All Hamlet test measurement devices are designed without dedicated cathode ray tubes (CRTs) and therefore do not suffer from the problems associated with CRT devices. Hamlet units digitally generate the traces along with the associated graticules for display on any standard monitor either digital or analogue. Therefore the signal may be routed at the users convenience to any suitably placed viewing monitor.
