Pro Audio Launch New Racking System
Professional audio and AV suppliers and racking specialists Pro Audio Stash (PAS) have launched a new racking system.
The R8010 19-inch Slide-and-Rotate racking system has been designed to provide ultimate flexibility for 19 inch racking set ups that are installed in tight and / or difficult to access spaces.
The company claim that the system has been developed in response to extensive feedback, and has a wide range of applications as a versatile solution for the installed rack units that can be easily rotated 90 degrees in either direction once pulled forward from the home position for full accessibility, maintenance, etc..
It’s ideal for any location where space is at a premium e.g. AV installations on cruise ships where the rack needs to be locked into position with the base plate being screwed to a solid surface, or for clubs / theatres / studios where space is often limited.
For high-end commercial and residential installations, the Slide-and-Rotate rack can easily be fitted into enclosed spaces and hidden discreetly from view, whilst being fully on hand for servicing, upgrading or changing, etc.
The rack system can be built up to any height – for specific and custom purposes - and will house any standard 19 inch rack mounting device. Versions currently available include 6, 8, 12, 16 and 20 U, with load capacities of up to 40 Kg (88 lbs) –accommodated by all sizes..
A stylish, ergonomic, retractable cable management bar at the back has been designed to track and keep all the cables neatly organised within the structure, which expands and contracts as the rack is slid forward and moved back into place.
The Slide-and-Rotate system is quality engineered to the same exacting specifications for which all Pro Audio Stash products are renowned, ruggedly constructed and with reliability to the fore.
Available initially as the rack superstructure, in the future, wood and steel cladding will be offered, so clients can match and finish the rack product according to their exact needs.
