Panasonic To Demo New Broadcast Kit In UK

Audio visual company, Panasonic, is set to unveil a hot new Panasonic Broadcast Kit at two December road show dates- this will be the first time the kit has been demonstrated in the UK.
The company will showcase the AK-HC3500 Multi-Format Studio Camera Plus; HDC-Z1000 Compact 2D/3D Handheld Camcorder, AG-3DP1 3D P2 HD Camera & AVC Ultra Codec Demo.
The two UK roadshows in London on Forman’s Island on December 6 and at Manchester’s Old Trafford on December 8 mark the very first UK opportunity to see the highly anticipated AK-HC3500 multi-format studio camera with 2/3 2.2 megapixel IT-3-CCD.
Meanwhile a host of other exciting broadcast technology will be available for hands on demos, including Panasonic professional display solutions. Plus with the additional presence of Panasonic’s Olympic Ambassador, Heptathlete, Louise Hazel, there will be an extra Olympic buzz in the air. Hazel will be available to answer questions and take roadshow delegates on in an 'Olympic Games Challenge'.
In addition shown for the very first time in the UK just days before the roadshows kick off, the HDC-Z10000 compact twin-lens 2D/3D camcorder with autostereoscopic viewfinder will be seen demonstrating its capability as a new 3D performer in an already comprehensive Panasonic 3D line up.
Featuring unique double 3MOS system for recording high-quality Full-HD 2D and 3D images, this advanced system features two 3MOS sensors, with an effective pixel count of 6.57 megapixels, forcolour and detail reproduction. The two large-diameter F1.5 lenses independently mounted on the left and right are treated with Nano Surface Coating, for the first time on a camcorder; this significantly reduces ghosting and flare to produce crisp images.
Whilst the new P2 model AG-HPX250, the first 10 bit hand-held model to feature the AVC-Intra 100 codec and the eagerly awaited Panasonic AG-AC130 and AG-AC160 AVCCAM camcorders will be shown. The AG-3DP1 will also be exhibited. This P2 HD 3D camera recorder is globally famous thanks to its now synonymous association with the first live 3D Olympic Games and the OBS announcement that Panasonic broadcast cameras will play a key role in the production of 200+ hours of 3D footage during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
