Red Lorry Yellow Lorry fulfils digital effects school demands

Europe’s first dedicated visual effects school endorsed by Oscar winner Ridley Scott, will this month open its doors with equipment and services provided by value-added reseller Red Lorry Yellow Lorry.
The school will offer courses in the latest production techniques including 3D computer animation and 2D visual effects.
Escape Studios has invested in the production level IBM workstations from Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, one of the largest orders the lorries has had to date, to provide students with a state of the art, fully operational, real-time production environment. The system order also includes 15 licences of the latest version of Discreet's award winning, unified paint, animation and 3D compositing software, combustion 2, which has been used in the production of several Hollywood blockbusters.
The world of digital special effects is an exploding market and the latest technology, as provided by Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, has revolutionised the film, television and games industries. The techniques employed are key to the success of high profile releases such as the new Spiderman movie, the BBC television hit Walking With Dinosaurs, and best-selling video game Tomb Raider. The school was launched in response to the lack of training facilities outside of the US.
