One of the world's largest visual entertainment services groups, has made four new appointments to its broadcast, commercials and content services divisions in London.
Sue Mitchell joins Prime Focus as commercial Director of Content Services, Róisín McKeniry as Operations Manager, Juliet Gonsalves joins as Senior Producer - both at the broadcast division - and Nicola McDermott moves from within the group to the commercials division where she’ll continue as a producer.
Sue Mitchell will oversee the content services sales strategy for the UK business in duplication, encoding, film mastering and archive restoration services, while also exploring opportunities for digital delivery and global content services contracts utilising CLEAR - Prime Focus' web-based media asset management system. Róisín McKeniry will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management and infrastructure of the 58 Old Compton Street broadcast facility, while Juliet Gonsalves and Nicola McDermott will build on their already extensive client lists within the broadcast and commercials sectors respectively.
Sue joins Prime Focus from Technicolor, where she held the position of Director of Sales for two years. She was responsible for new business and business development across digital content delivery services for broadband, broadcast and media for clients such as, BBC Worldwide, NBC Universal, Sony and Granada. Prior to this, Sue spent 12 years at 4MC/Ascent Media London where she worked as Business Development Manager and Head of Client Services.
Róisín’s worked for both post-production and production companies giving her a wealth of experience in the operations and editing spheres. She joins from Tiger Aspect where she was responsible for the maintaining and developing of in-house post-production. Prior to this, she spent five years at Sanctuary Post as Technical Operations Manager.
Nicola has spent the past 19 months at Prime Focus working closely with the creatives and TV department at JWT for Prime Focus' in-house facility, Kpost. She has produced TV campaigns for clients including B&Q, Vodafone and Canon, digital campaigns for Listerine, Rowntree’s Randoms and Kleenex, and production campaigns such as HSBC and Wilkinson Sword.
Simon Briggs, Managing Director, UK commented: "I'm pleased with all our recent staff acquisitions as we continue with our strategy of employing talented and experienced people. I expect each of them to make a significant contribution to Prime Focus in the years ahead."
