IBC Success At MW Video Systems
MW Video Systems have reported that they were very pleased with the results they have had so far from showing their products at IBC 2009. Despite some concerns about the effects of the ‘Credit Crunch’ on the number of visitors and the scaling back of projects MW found some real business opportunities and although visitor numbers were down (according to the organiser’s own statistics), MW had a substantial number of serious enquiries.
Brian Speck, MW's managing director, said “I was extremely pleased with the reception we got to our Technical Furniture, it has been some time since we last exhibited at IBC and I have to say that I was concerned that we might have chosen a very bad time to go back in, however I am now sure it was the right decision. We booked a fairly modest stand with the emphasis on showing our styling and quality and we received extremely complimentary comments from everyone who came to see us. As a result we now have a considerable number of projects to work on and I can honestly say we have never been busier, quite an achievement in these times”.
