The new global content business created at the end of last year and part of DeAgostini Group, Zodiak Entertainment, arrives at MIP for the first time as an integrated company.
With a strong portfolio of programming across all genres developed and created by its many highly successful production companies, Zodiak Entertainment will be based on stand LR4.02 and LR4.05 in Le Palais. Zodiak Entertainment's distribution arm is divided into two entities emphasising the exceptional strengths of the sales teams from the businesses which make up the unified company. Emmanuelle Bouilhaguet, Head of Scripted Team, at Paris based Marathon, is concentrating on fiction, documentary and animation programming sales such as the critically acclaimed and box office winning TV film Millennium, the animation hit Gormiti, the innovative documentary The Real Slum Millionaires and hit comedy Totally Spies, The Movie. Formats hot shop Zodiak Entertainment Distribution, based in London, will focus on selling and acquiring unscripted programming under the watch of Matthieu Porte, Head of Format Sales, including exciting new formats Save My Holiday, the all singing, all dancing, all acting primetime family talent show Parenti Talenti; the first anti-dating, reality format French Kiss and the radical new daily gameshow format from Zodiak Entertainment's creative entity The Distillery The Question.
