Investment Boost For Oakslade Studios

Oakslade Studios, one of the Midlands’ foremost film and video post production facilities, is under new management.
The Warwick based facility’s new owners are already investing thousands in industry leading technology as part of an extensive upgrade.
The business, which will continue to trade under the Oakslade Studios name, has been purchased by Midlands based Ephex Media.
Oakslade Studios’ new business director Lee Kemp said the investment in new equipment was essential to reflect changes in technology in the post production industry.
Kemp said: “Oakslade has always been a perfect location to escape the rat race and work in a beautiful and tranquil setting and it has attracted some of the UK’s film makers and directors.
“To ensure we continue to attract this level of talent we have invested significantly in new technology.
“We now have four Final Cut Pro suites, which can edit anything up to uncompressed HD, giving us the scope to handle projects from corporate videos and broadcast work to film.
“Plus we have a team of staff available on-site to assist with every aspect of the post production process, from recording a voiceover to finishing ready for broadcast.”
Oakslade is also one of the few post production facilities to have a Vutrix 23” Grade 1 monitor which offers superb rendition for critical colour-correction and grading work for broadcast.
Kemp added: “This investment not only reflects our mission to develop the best post production facility outside the M25, it also reinforces our commitment to developing a centre of excellence for Midlands film and video production.
“We want Oakslade Studios to be at the forefront of post production technical excellence and we will continue to invest in the facility to ensure that we surpass our clients’ expectations.”
