Bristol based health and safety company Smart Advice has cause for celebration with news that they have secured a contract with Endemol UK, producers of 'Big Brother'.
Smart Advice was appointed as planning supervisor to oversee the refurbishment of Endemol’s new offices and recording space in Bristol, ensuring health and safety measures on the site meet stringent government requirements.
“We have been helping Endemol in various ways,” said Audrey Smart, Director of Smart Advice. “We have advised them on the fire and health and safety implications for the refurbishment of the new Bristol site and are now focussing on ongoing safety issues now that the refurbishment is nearly complete. This is an interesting project for Smart Advice as we have to consider audience safety at live, outside broadcasts, safety of employees and participants and the ongoing suitability of sets and staging.”
Endemol UK produces over 8,000 hours of television for British audiences each year,making it one of the largest independent producers in the country. Other programmes from the Endemol stable include 'Restoration', 'Fame Academy', 'The Salon', 'Changing Rooms' and 'Ready Steady Cook'.
