Omneon appoints Vice President of EMEA Sales

Omneon Video Networks has announced the appointment of industry veteran Greg Hoskin as Vice President of EMEA sales.
To meet the increasing demand for Omneon server solutions within this market, Omneon has also expanded its technical and operational support services with new positions filled by Graham Aedy and Gary Pass.
"Omneon is experiencing a significant increase in business opportunities within the EMEA region, and Greg's extensive background in sales and marketing for broadcast system solutions brings another level of capability to Omneon," said Dan Marshall, Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Omneon. "Greg's experience with large account management and managing sales of broadcast technologies will further position us to capitalise on the increasing demand for Omneon's leading server technology."
Alan Hoggarth, Omneon's EMEA Vice President of Operations, said: "The addition of Greg to our team along with the expansion of our support capabilities will ensure our continued delivery of high-quality products and services. These appointments not only reflect a growing record of successful installations, but also represent our commitment to building and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers. We're very pleased to welcome Greg, Gary, and Graham on board."
Hoskin has 27 years' experience in management, sales, and engineering for the broadcast and media manufacturing industries. He most recently served as senior vice president of sales and product strategy for OmniBus Systems, where he was responsible for key accounts and strategic sales worldwide, working with broadcast groups including BBC, Walt Disney Corporation, and BSkyB. In 1994, while working as sales manager for AVS Graphics, Hoskin helped to launch the OmniBus Systems product line. Hoskin began his career with sales and engineering roles at Philips' systems division, PYE TVT, and Sony Broadcast.
The appointment of Pass and Aedy to Omneon's Technical Resource Engineering Group will provide added technical support expertise to meet the company's goal of complete customer satisfaction in the EMEA region.
