NI MEDIA CAREERS INFORMATION DAY IN BELFAST

The NI Media Careers Information Day is to take place at Whitla Hall, Queens University in Belfast on November 14, 2001.
The information day is a new initiative to help anyone interested in working in the creative industries, TV, Film, Video, Radio, Multimedia and Journalism in Northern Ireland to: access effective and comprehensive industry information; meet and learn from industry professionals; find out about training and further study opportunities; talk to local radio and television presenters in the ‘In Conversation’ areas; get hands on experience in the activity area; and learn from professionals by attending workshops.
The NI Media Careers Information Day is organised by a team representing BBC, UTV, Northern Ireland Film Commission, Queen’s University, University of Ulster and Skillset – the National Training Organisation for broadcasting, film, video and multimedia.
For an up-to-date list of the organisations attending and on how to obtain tickets visit their website at www.qub.ac.uk/mediaday. (CD)
