APTN and Sharpcards launch V-cards in UK first

APTN and Sharpcards have announced the launch of V-cards to over three million customers on the 3 network.
Mobile media company 3 has pioneered innovative mobile services in the UK including moving video and pictures in the form of MMS messaging.
3 subscribers will be the first in the UK able to send V-cards, or video cards, from their mobiles – anytime, anywhere.
V-cards have been developed by Sharpcards, leaders in mobile E-cards using video clips from APTN’s massive library of entertaining footage.
3 subscribers will be the first in the UK who can send V-cards from their mobile priced at £1.50 – anytime, anywhere.
“V-cards takes mobile messaging to the next level,” said Jonathan Smith, Director of Operations at Sharpcards. “It’s a fun and easy alternative to sending a text message.”
