Description


THE ROLE

This is an extremely physical role, responsible for the installation of all types of signs, graphics, vehicle vinyls, printed panels and wall/glass graphics. This role is part of the production & installation department, working with various substrates and signage machinery. The role will involve travelling to & working on sites and at premises, mainly located within the south of the UK. This role will report to the Company Director.



Please note this is not a graphic designer role – it is predominantly a sign making & installer position.



KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Application of vinyl films and graphics onto various substrates including vehicles, walls, doors and windows,

• Fit various signs and graphics including trays, post and panel, acrylic letters & signs, banners, large format print, and vehicle graphics.

• Attend site(s) to install various signage in a timely and efficient manner

• Load and transport all signage, tools, hardware, and materials to the site safely, using company vehicles.

• Prepare the site for the installation by removing old signage and preparing the surface or structure for new signage.

• Carry out the signage installation works using various power tools and access equipment including ladders, scissor lifts, scaffold towers & cherry pickers.

• Interpret client briefs correctly with a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques.

• Conduct site surveys for signage work on client sites.

• Ensure company Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.

• Supporting the internal production team when needed

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have hands-on sign making & signage installation experience,

• Knowledge and experience of Large Format Signage & Visual display installation

• Full clean UK Driving licence,

• Hold an active CSCS card (an advantage)

• Core hours 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday; you will need to be flexible to working outside of these hours when required (starting early & finishing late where needed)

• Up to £30,000.00 per annum dependent on experience.
