Tom Lucas Appointed Director Of Marketing And Communications At UKTV
UKTV has appointed Tom Lucas in the new role of Director of Marketing and communications.
The appointment marks the first time UKTV has created a role overseeing marketing communications for its nine channels.
Lucas who has created campaigns for programmes including ‘Supernatural’ and ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl’ will report to UKTV network controller Matthew Littleford, while the stations head of brand, Kerry Yates, will report to Lucas.
His former role was controller of channel marketing and interactive at ITV.
Lucas will begin his post at UKTV, a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Virgin Media Television, in January 2008.
