Two Deviate Films To Feature At Corona Cork Film Festival

‘Missing Link’ and 'Morning News’ - two Deviate films have been successfully selected for the Corona Cork Film Festival.
Both will feature in the national competition programme during the festival.
Missing Link is directed by Cecilia McAllister and produced by Bronagh McCartan. With climate warming, the icebergs in Antarctica are melting and ancient ice has found its way to the surface and is recovered. Two scientists, long running rivals, take delivery of the ice. One is forward looking and determined to move fast, the other wants to work methodically. Meanwhile the ice is melting, releasing the mysteries it holds within it. Which scientist will win the day?
Morning News, written and directed by Louis McCullagh is about a 70 year-old man who after his elderly wife’s death, shows he is the world’s greatest lover.
The Corona Cork Film Festival runs from 14 - 21 October 2007.
