TSL is currently working on a number of high profile broadcast technology projects worldwide including the NRK Programme Bank project in Norway, the ESS Home Run project in Singapore, and HD OBs for ART in Jordan.
Other projects over the last 12 months include Siemens IT Solutions & Services with BBC Scotland at the all new Pacific Quay project in Glasgow UK, HD Studio and Playout facilities for Romanian broadcaster ProTV as well as TV Nova in Prague and a new playout centre for Setanta Sports in West London.

TSL also has a professional products division that designs and manufacturers the latest in audio monitoring, and the TallyMan UMD and Tally system.

At IBC 2007, TSL will be launching the AMU1–CHD: The latest addition to the AMU 1 series from TSL sees the HD 1080p format added to the comprehensive list of video signal standards, supported by the company’s renowned de-embedding audio monitoring units.
Specifically designed to give maximum functionality in a compact 1RU format, the AMU1–CHD Dolby features high-quality internal loudspeaker monitoring whilst the Dolby D/E decoder enables users to listen to individual surround sound stems, multi-language audio or Lt/Rt Downmix.

Also launched will be the MDU range of products from TSL has been designed to offer full flexibility to technical operators in leading broadcast applications. From the entry level MDU-14-B, which provides 14 fused IEC outlets at superior density, to the MDU-12PM power managing unit, which offers full SNMP alarm monitoring and remote management plus a host of other features including external GPI inputs and temperature control.

Showcased at the show will be

The In-Monitor-Display (IMD) system allows dynamic UMD information and dual tallies to be displayed directly in-picture on flat screen monitors. The system is designed as a fully integrated addition to the well established TallyMan system.
The latest TM1 and TM2 system controllers, the heart of a Tallyman solution, run the TallyMan program as an embedded Windows application.
The AMU1-BHD compact audio monitoring solution is ideal for desk mounting or where rack space is at a premium. The AMU1 features an auto sensing HD/SDI video input, 2 x balanced AES/EBU and 4 stereo analogue inputs. The unit also offers dual high-resolution 106-segment tri-colour bar graphs and a powerful integrated amplifier: everything you need in a 1RU.
