Waddell Media On Target With 'FutureWeapons' Commission

Waddell Media has just clinched the biggest commission ever to come out of Northern Ireland.
The prolific indie has been commissioned by Discovery US for a massive 26 x 60’ third series of 'FutureWeapons'.
Discovery US has been delighted by the coast-to-coast popularity of the show, which investigates the most sophisticated weaponry being developed and produced throughout the world in the 21st century.
“FutureWeapons has been a real star show for us," said Discovery Channels President and General Manager Jane Root.
Former US Navy SEAL Richard ‘Mack’ Machowicz returns as presenter. With his hands-on, gung-ho style and enthusiasm, he has become an iconic figure in the States.
The third series will be shot entirely on location worldwide.
The Commissioning Editor at Discovery US is Mary Donahue, the Executive Producer (Waddell Media) is David Cumming.
