Digigram technology brings new RAMI product to market in record time

RAMI, a French manufacturer of professional audio devices for broadcast and industrial environments, has signed an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) development contract to implement Digigram’s professional USB Audio module in its new product line.
After a development cycle of only six weeks, the first Digigram-powered device, the work station audio mixer PJO 550, will be introduced at the SATIS trade show in Paris.
"The primary benefit for us is the incredibly low time to market that we were able to achieve thanks to the partnership with Digigram. We had the idea to connect our new work station audio mixer via the USB port to the computer, but didn’t have the necessary resources in-house. Digigram’s USB Audio module was right there, with all the necessary tools that we needed to easily implement USB connectivity in our product: well-designed hardware featuring Digigram’s famous audio quality, proper documentation and specialised support,” said Gérard Storck, RAMI Technical Manager. "We are very pleased to have made the ‘buy’ decision and not the ‘make’ decision. Only six weeks after starting the development, we have already received the first significant order. That’s what it all comes down to."
