Audio Processing Technology focus on 'expansion and enrichment' for NAB line-up

Expansion and Enrichment are the key themes behind the impressive range of audio compression solutions which APT - Audio Processing Technology - will display at this year's NAB show in the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
Building on their unrivalled reputation for delivering high quality audio across both synchronous and packetised networks, APT will be showing several innovative hardware and software solutions, which will make their ground-breaking apt-X audio data compression algorithm available to a wider customer base.
Visitors to NAB 2005 will also see several improvements to the highly acclaimed WorldNet series from APT, which will ensure that these systems continue to be the codec of choice for audio professionals worldwide. One of the main attractions at the APT booth will be the newly-released WorldNet Oslo. A modular, multiple channel audio codec, the WorldNet Oslo has been designed to transport exceptional quality audio and data over various digital networks such as T1, E1, TCP/IP and ISDN. APT will also be unveiling an expanded feature set on their popular WorldNet Rio audio codec. In addition to the Standard and Enhanced apt-X algorithms, the WorldNet Rio now incorporates Mpeg Layer II and III for increased compatibility with other audio codecs.
Also to be showcased is Apt-X Pro, a recently launched software plug in for the Pro Tools Digital Audio Workstation enabling the creation, editing, manipulation and sharing of Enhanced apt-X-encoded 16-to-24 bit audio.
