PACE LAUNCHES NEW D3 INITIATIVES
PACE Digital Dealers of Distinction programme (d3), which support UK independent retailers in understanding and selling digital TV technology, have launched a new password protected website.
The site is specifically designed for UK retailers to provide vital information at the touch of a button.
The site will update members on new developments in the digital TV industry, market trends and product developments. It also includes Pace news, industry news, new product information, details of Pace distributors and their special offers and hotlinks to other relevant industry sites. The 'Dealer of the Year' programme will run again as well as a monthly dealer's profile and event listings. A new feature of the site is a monthly lottery to reward regular users.
In addition to this new venture, to encourage loyalty from customers, d3 members were invited to enter a 50th box promotion competition, the winner of which won a £5000 of a lifetime. Dealers had to purchase 50 Digiboxes from an appointed Pace distributor to claim a free box. Ten d3 points were received for every 50 boxes purchased. The winners were chosen by who had the most d3 points.
Debbie Smart, Pace's UK and EMEA Marketing Manager, said: "d3 is successful because it is specifically tailored for the needs of UK dealers. Pace have a dedicated sales and marketing team to support dealers, which has enabled us to forge strong relationships and keep constantly up to date with their needs and requirements. The new website will provide members with the latest up-to-the-minute information while promotions such as the 50th box competition incentives retailers to sell our products with the opportunity to win fantastic prizes for their hard work."
