HK Audio Unveils Elements MK2

HK Audio has introduced ELEMENTS MK2, a modular column array designed for professional sound reinforcement.

Built in Germany, the system combines controlled, even sound distribution and long-throw performance with flexible scalability and a comprehensive DSP architecture. Its SnapLock mechanism enables quick, reliable, tool-free setup, targeting rental providers, sound engineers and mobile applications.

Suitable for speech reinforcement, conferences and corporate events as well as live music, DJ sets and more demanding shows, ELEMENTS MK2 adapts to different room sizes and use cases through its modular construction.

Operating on a line-array principle, the system offers a 90-degree horizontal dispersion. A newly developed phase-plug sound guide supports uniform coverage across the audience area and affords precise control over directivity.

The approach delivers a consistent listening experience with fewer level fluctuations and reduced dead zones, while providing crisp, punchy high frequencies, high peak output and extra headroom for a wide range of scenarios.

With SnapLock, top modules, spacers and subwoofers connect securely and seamlessly in a single step. Signal is carried via robust contact surfaces that are resistant to wear, dirt and mechanical stress. Once assembled, cabling remains hidden and the discreet aesthetic blends unobtrusively into varied event environments.

Scalability extends to configurations of up to three top units and two subwoofers. Connected tops are automatically recognised, prompting the DSP platform to load the correct filter for midrange compensation—eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

Two subwoofer options cover low-frequency duties: the ELEMENTS MK2 110 Sub A provides a compact solution for corporate events and speech/background music, while the ELEMENTS MK2 115 Sub A delivers higher headroom and extended low-end for music and event applications. The LINEAR 5 MK2 115 Sub A can also be integrated, and the ELEMENTS MK2 115 Sub A may be combined with LINEAR 5 MK2 115 Sub A for additional bass extension or cardioid setups.

The integrated DSP platform features Flat, Contour, Voice and Remote presets, the latter enabling custom configurations. HK Audio’s DSP CONTROL software offers extensive setup and management, while Ethernet supports both system control and Milan AVB audio streaming via a single network cable.
